Joy is one of the great words of this Easter season. But it is not shallow joy; it’s a joy which recognises the world’s sorrows, and longs to shine the light of Christ’s love into the darkest places of the world.

Joy is one of the great words of this Easter season. But it is not shallow joy; it’s a joy which recognises the world’s sorrows, and longs to shine the light of Christ’s love into the darkest places of the world.
The omnipotent God chose Mary.
It all began with a ‘yes’. Our Lady’s consent to the angel: “Be it done to me according to thy Word” is the moment the world changes. In agreeing to become the Mother of God, Mary allows the plan of salvation to take place. God called her into existence for no other reason than to fulfil this most awesome of all vocations.
England will rededicate itself as the Dowry of Mary on 29 March 2020. This Re-dedication is both a personal promise of the people of our country, and a renewal of the entrustment vows made by King Richard II in 1381.
